Tallgrass Mobile Detailing is a locally owned mobile car detailing service based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We started in 2019 with one truck, a pressure washer and a lot of microfiber towels, and we have been cleaning cars, trucks, SUVs and work vans all over the Tulsa metro ever since. We are fully mobile, which means we come to your home, apartment complex, office parking lot or anywhere else you park, and we bring our own water and power so you don't need to supply anything at all. You just hand us the keys and go on with your day.
Every vehicle we detail gets the same attention whether it is a daily driver that has seen a few too many drive-thru meals, a work truck that lives on job sites, or a weekend car that just needs to be kept looking sharp. We use professional grade products, pH balanced soaps, a two bucket wash method and clean towels on every job, never the dirty rags and recycled water you get at the gas station car wash. Our goal is simple: when we leave, your vehicle looks, smells and feels as close to the day you bought it as we can get it.

Our Interior Detail is a complete top to bottom cleaning of the inside of your vehicle. We start by removing all of your floor mats and loose items, then do a thorough vacuum of the carpets, seats, trunk and all of the cracks and crevices where crumbs and dirt like to hide. Carpets and cloth seats are shampooed and hot water extracted to pull out dirt, spills and odors, and leather seats are cleaned and conditioned. All hard surfaces including the dash, console, door panels, cup holders and vents are cleaned with steam and a mild interior cleaner, then dressed with a non greasy UV protectant that leaves a clean satin finish, not a shiny slippery one. Door jambs are wiped down, the interior glass is cleaned streak free and your floor mats go back in clean and dry. Most interiors take about two to three hours depending on the condition of the vehicle.

The Exterior Detail is much more than a car wash. We begin with a pre rinse and a thick foam bath to loosen dirt and road grime so it can be safely washed away without scratching your paint. The vehicle is then hand washed using the two bucket method with pH balanced soap and clean wash mitts. Wheels, tires and wheel wells get their own brushes and a dedicated wheel cleaner to remove brake dust. After a careful hand dry with plush microfiber towels we apply a spray sealant to the paint for several months of protection and water beading, dress the tires with a low sheen tire dressing, clean the exterior glass and wipe down the door jambs. Bugs and light tar are removed as part of the service. Clay bar decontamination and paint polishing are available as add ons for vehicles that need a little more.

Starting at $285
The Full Detail combines our complete Interior Detail and Exterior Detail into one appointment and is our most popular service. It is the right choice if your vehicle has not been detailed in a while, if you are getting ready to sell or trade it in, or if you just want everything done at once. Your vehicle receives the full foam bath and two bucket hand wash, wheel and tire cleaning, hand drying, spray sealant, tire dressing and glass cleaning on the outside, and the full vacuum, shampoo and extraction, steam cleaning, leather conditioning and interior protectant on the inside. We also include a light engine bay wipe down and a quick headlight cleaning at no extra charge with the Full Detail. Plan on about four to five hours for a car and a little longer for a large SUV or truck. Many of our customers book a Full Detail once or twice a year and keep it up with our maintenance washes in between.

There is no travel fee within about 25 miles of downtown Tulsa. If you are a little farther out just ask, we can usually make it work for a small travel fee or when we have more than one vehicle to detail at the same location.
No. Our truck carries its own water tank and a generator, so we can detail your vehicle anywhere we can park next to it. If you would like us to use your spigot and outlet that is fine too, but it is never required.
Yes, as long as the property allows it. Most apartment complexes and office parks are fine with it. If your complex has rules about washing cars on site, a waterless or rinseless wash may be an option, just let us know when you book.
An Exterior Detail usually takes about one and a half to two hours, an Interior Detail two to three hours, and a Full Detail four to five hours. Large or very dirty vehicles take longer. You do not need to be there the whole time.
We accept cash, card, Venmo and Zelle when the job is finished. We do not require a deposit for standard packages.
Light rain is usually not a problem for interior work. If weather is going to get in the way of an exterior service we will text you the day before to reschedule.
Yes, gift certificates are available for any package or dollar amount and make a great gift for birthdays, holidays and new car owners. Call or text us and we can email or mail one to you.
